Senior Accountant

Responsible for applying proper principles of accounting (US GAAP).  Prepare financial reports for Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds.


  • Review/Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for monthly/quarterly general ledger close
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Provide necessary information to auditor for completion of annual audit
  • Provide necessary information to tax accountants for preparation of annual tax return
  • Review tax returns prepared by tax accountants
  • Prepare capital call calculations and capital call letters
  • Prepare distribution calculations and distribution letters
  • Prepare Limited Partner Confirmations
  • Calculate Management Fees
  • Review payroll reports prepared by Staff Accountants
  • Prepare client cash dashboards
  • Prepare banking Compliance Certificates
  • Assist Manager with any tasks that may arise


The ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; work well in group problem solving situations.

The ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, including managing competing demands and the ability to adjust frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Must also possess strong time and work management skills as well as effective communication and listening skills.

The commitment to independently complete tasks, to reach the clients’ goals, which at times may require hours above the standard work week.

The candidate should have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat X (and higher), and the ability to use accounting software.


A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a senior accountant; a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required.
